Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle — from sourcing and negotiating to purchasing and vendor performance management. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services while maintaining compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Source and procure high-quality goods and services at competitive prices to meet production and operational requirements. Review and process purchase requisitions; prepare and issue purchase orders in alignment with company policies. Solicit bid proposals and evaluate supplier quotes based on price, quality, delivery, and service. Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers and manage contracts to ensure fulfillment and compliance. Monitor inventory levels and delivery schedules to avoid shortages or delays in production. Address and resolve issues related to supplier performance, defective materials, and non-conformances. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, availability, and emerging suppliers. Collaborate with internal teams to develop specifications for materials or substitute products. Ensure procurement practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards. Analyze reports and pricing data to support informed procurement decisions. Track and trace shipments; coordinate logistics to ensure on-time delivery. Oversee payment of freight, duty, and other associated procurement costs. Position Qualifications Competency Statement(s) Adaptability

Promotes a positive image of the company and strives to solve issues raised by customers Experience and Skills In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing, buying, or procurement within a manufacturing or production environment. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with Deltek Costpoint or similar ERP systems is highly desirable. Education Associate Degree in Supply Chain/Business or related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred Relevant Certifications (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) are a plus.
