Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic Purchasing Agent specializing in residential remodeling projects. In this role, you will be the driving force behind sourcing quality materials, negotiating contracts, and managing supply chain logistics to ensure seamless project delivery. Your expertise in procurement and inventory management will help maintain project timelines and uphold our high standards of craftsmanship. Duties Source and purchase materials, fixtures, and supplies required for residential remodeling projects. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best value for the company. Coordinate procurement activities with project managers, designers, and tradespeople to ensure timely availability of materials. Manage inventory control and logistics to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce waste. Utilize Sage Contractor 100 to track orders, monitor stock levels, and update procurement records accurately. Conduct supplier evaluations and sourcing activities to identify new vendors that meet quality standards and cost objectives. Collaborate on production planning and merchandising strategies to align purchasing with project schedules. Skills Proficiency in procurement and materials management. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable pricing and contractual terms. Knowledge of supply chain management principles including inventory management, logistics, and procurement processes. Experience with sourcing strategies for residential remodeling or construction projects. Familiarity with contracts, pricing models, and inventory control techniques. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with vendors, project teams, and internal stakeholders. $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
