$74,000.00-$84,000.00 We are looking for a detail‑oriented Buyer to support the procurement of materials, components, and services for our manufacturing and product development teams. This role ensures timely delivery, cost-effective sourcing, and strong supplier coordination in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment. If you enjoy managing purchasing workflows, solving supply challenges, and working closely with cross-functional teams, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in procurement. What You'll Do Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and reliable delivery Create, issue, and manage purchase orders while maintaining accurate records in the ERP system Monitor delivery schedules and work with suppliers to resolve delays, shortages, or quality concerns Partner with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure materials meet specifications Support supplier performance tracking and assist with improvement initiatives Maintain procurement documentation, pricing information, and vendor files Assist with cost‑reduction, value‑engineering, and process improvement projects Ensure compliance with applicable manufacturing and regulatory requirements (ITAR, AS9100, etc.) Stay up to date on material availability and market trends to help mitigate sourcing risks Perform other related procurement duties as assigned What You Bring Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (manufacturing or defense/aerospace preferred) Strong knowledge of sourcing, vendor management, and basic contract negotiation Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel required) Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred 3-5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience (manufacturing experience a plus) Why Join Us You'll play an important role supporting mission‑critical programs and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing environment.
