GHSP is currently hiring an Electrical Buyer to join our Purchasing team in our Holland, Michigan location. What You'll Bring Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent. 2 + years experience in supply chain preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel. Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. What You'll Do The Electrical Buyer drives sourcing and supplier strategies for assigned commodities in support of organizational goals and operational needs.

Responsibilities include:

Develops and executes global commodity strategies utilizing the global supply base to support organizational and operational objectives across all divisions. Collaborates with Product Business Teams, Supplier Quality Engineers (SQEs), Supply Chain Management, and other cross-functional stakeholders to develop and gain alignment on documented global commodity strategies. Identifies gaps within existing global commodity strategies and develops plans to strengthen and mature those strategies over time. Negotiates supplier terms and conditions and manages global supplier agreements. Evaluates current and prospective suppliers to support GHSP product line strategies, business plans, product development initiatives, and advanced engineering projects. Serves as the Supply Chain representative to Engineering teams, communicating cost, lead-time, sourcing, and launch risks identified during the quoting and product launch processes. Monitors and documents commodity market trends to support cost forecasting and business planning. May travel to various GHSP manufacturing facilities as needed.
