Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and relationshipfocusedDomestic Sourcing Lead to drive supplier development and sourcing initiatives across the United States. In this role, you will identify, qualify, and grow partnerships with key suppliers to secure optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance for critical components. You will collaborate crossfunctionally to establish reliable supply sources, improve transparency, and continuously enhance supply chain processes.

This position is primarily onsite with the ability to work remotely one day per week. You may be required to work in anoisy or hot environment and around moving machinery.
How You Contribute:
Demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to safety. Evaluate potential suppliers appropriate for items being sourced and provide recommendations. Responsible for clear and accurate documentation and audit criteria for key process controls and other established supply parameters. Collaborate with Engineers, designers, suppliers, tool builders, and associates for proto-types, new product development, specials requests and ongoing production. Facilitate problem resolution through troubleshooting and effective communication. Monitor supplier compliance to standards, resolving missed deliveries, expedites, and other non-conformance issues. Responsible for meeting project and/or shipment schedules. Support component/product quality at the source of supply. Provide direction for Engineers, office support staff, and others as required to support the endeavor. Responsible for staying current with industry regulation changes and making necessary recommendations to management for compliance. Criteria for
Success:
A strong candidate will have a history of achievement in manufacturing environments such as casting, finishing, metal fabrication, machining, or similar industries.
Additional success factors include:
A continuous improvement mindset and willingness to take ownership. Strong collaboration, communication, and relationshipbuilding skills. A positive, teamoriented attitude aligned with the organization's values. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, or equivalent experience. Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, including supplier development and supplier performance management to drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements.
