Back Capex & Industrial Manager#2016888 Auburn Hills, Michigan, United StatesApply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Job Description The Purchasing Leader will be responsible for overseeing the Sourcing, development, and businesses maintenance of key vehicle systems, ensuring they meet quality, performance, cost, and timing targets. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to maintain system integration and compliance with internal control regulations.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Lead the purchasing strategy for assigned vehicle systems, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality sourcingDevelop and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating contracts to optimize cost, quality, and deliveryGuarantee the conformity to internal control system rulesWork closely with global and regional suppliers to enhance supply chain resilienceWork with engineering, R D, quality, and manufacturing teams to align purchasing activities with vehicle developmentOversee budget planning and cost tracking for purchasing activitiesSupport cost-reduction initiatives, improving efficiency across sourcing and procurement processesLead and mentor a cross-functional team, ensuring alignment with the company goalsWork with manufacturing and quality teams to address supplier quality concerns and implement corrective actionsConstruction & Industrial Services is responsible for sourcing activities supporting various areas within construction and industrial services at our plants and facilities in North America. The purchasing responsibilities include supplier negotiations, sourcing on time and to target, driving cost savings activities and development and implementation of global commodity strategies, lead the resolution and negotiation of commercial issues, support other buyers on the team with PO placement, sourcing activities and other various tasks. The selected candidate will interact with many cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Finance. Location(s) 1000 Chrysler Drive, Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326,

United States Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degreeA minimum 10+ years of relevant purchasing experience or other disciplines that require significant negotiation/exposure to sourcing processesStrong negotiation skills and the ability to think and act strategicallyStrong communication, presentation and commodity leadership skillsWell organized, self-motivated, and resourceful managing complex situationsAbility to support all aspects of the commercial relationship with the supply base and key internal stakeholders•mainly Business Development and JV PM OfficeMust be skilled at relationship building, cost analysis, negotiation (both internal and external), benchmarking, time management and presentations to all levels of managementStrong use of MS Office Suite/G Suit Employment Type Full-time Stellantis At Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
