LPI also provides custom solutions and manufacturing for other special industrial fluid and gas equipment, and packaging for a wide range of rotating equipment and industries and continues to increase our reach and capabilities.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Purchases and expedites, parts, equipment, supplies and other activities to support organization goals using SAP Business One/ Beas. Key areas of accountability include accurate procurement task management / output while meeting scheduled due dates, managing project budgets, training, and purchasing standards implementation. Work closely with Engineering and design and help Identify long lead items and assist in getting quotes early on in the project to assure meeting budget and ordering material in time to meet Project deadline. Familiar with and adheres to the Company Core Values;
ISO 9001
2015 Quality System requirements; OSHA regulations and company safety rules. Knowledge of company products and processes. Acquires and maintains basic technical understanding of products purchased with ability to read and understand drawings and material specifications.
PURCHASING
Obtain price estimates and lead times for Sales and Engineering as required. Perform purchasing activities to support organization goals in a cost effective and timely manner. Use MRP system SAP Business One to create purchase orders and review component requirements, requisition, and monitor deliveries through payment process. Work cross functionally with internal and external parties to ensure the proper items and services are being procured: obtain detail product/service information, price, availability, and review bid proposals to follow through on issues until they are completed. Purchase in sufficient quantities to obtain volume discounts from vendors. Provide listing by supplier of agreed discounts based on volume or other. Follow up on orders for acknowledgement, verify status and Expedite delivery as required.

Education/Experience:
bachelor's degree from accredited college or university; or 3-5 years related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience. SAP Business One experience a plus
Hourly Rate:
