Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Sourcing Coordinator is a vital link in our supply chain, managing purchase orders, verifying order acknowledgements, acting on MRP recommendations, and facilitating returns. This position demands a highly organized individual with a keen eye for detail, capable of ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, thereby contributing to streamlined supply chain operations and overall company efficiency.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Uphold Company Mission and Values:
Actively demonstrate and promote the company's mission and core values (unwavering integrity, servant's heart, ownership spirit, and continuous innovation and improvement) in all interactions and tasks.Document and Report:
Prepare and manage various documents, including agendas, performance reports, inspection reports, return documents, supplier notifications, supplier update letters, supplier meeting action items, to-do lists, and warranty issue documentation.Action Item Tracking:
Proactively track and ensure completion of agreed-upon action items for both the Douglas Machine and suppliers, maintaining clear communication and follow-up.Supplier Performance Support:
Contribute to the supplier performance management program by providing relevant data and administrative support.Interdepartmental Collaboration:
Collaborate with Buyers and Material Handling to ensure timely delivery, dependable service, and optimal value.Issue Resolution Support:
Escalate delivery or invoice problems to Buyers for resolution, providing necessary documentation and information.Order Fulfillment and Logistics:
Manage the logistics of parts, supplies, and equipment shipments, including expediting and returns, to ensure adherence to schedules.Order and Inventory Management:
Oversee day-to-day order processing, re-order reports, quotes, acknowledgements, releases, and new inventory additions for assigned suppliers and commodities.Administrative Support:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to Buyers and the Director of Procurement.Meeting Participation:
Attend required meetings and contribute actively.QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to write routine documents, reports and correspondence.
Strong business writing skills (solid English usage, grammar, and punctuation).Detail oriented, extreme accuracy.
Ability and desire to learn new technologyWillingness to perform IT related tasks - Power User in corporate database.
Perform duties independently, proactive management of duties.
Ability to exercise good judgment regarding responses to questions and situations.
Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with employees, management, suppliers, and the general public.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The position requires a two-year business degree and/or equivalent experience. Two years minimum of general clerical experience; purchasing experience preferred. Must have experience in administrative support with a focus on internal customer service. Strong organizational, interpersonal and computer use skills are required along with excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and have the ability to prioritize work, manage frequent interruptions, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.OTHER INFORMATION
