Job Description:
The Purchasing Compliance Coordinator supports the Purchasing department by ensuring all procurement activities comply with the applicable regulatory requirements. This role monitors supplier documentation, maintains, purchasing records, audits purchasing processes, and helps ensure cost-effective and complaint purchasing practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and internal controls. 2. Maintain supplier compliance documentation. 3. Track and report supplier performance metrics and compliance requirements. 4. Support internal and external audits related to purchasing and supplier compliance. 5. Maintain organized and audit ready purchasing records. 6. Monitor expiration dates, and renewal timelines. 7. Identify and report purchasing discrepancies or non-compliance issues. 8. Work with Quality to ensure supplier certifications and documentation remain current. 9. Support cost control initiatives and purchasing process improvements. 10. Assist with reporting and data analysis related to spend, compliance, and vendor performance. 11. Create and manage purchasing department reports and metrics. 13. Other duties maybe be assigned.
