Job Description

Twin City Staffing is hiring an experienced, detail-oriented purchasing specialist for an immediate opening in Blaine ! This position offers highly competitive wages, a stable four-day work week, and an extraordinary benefits package, including 100% company-paid employee medical premiums upon permanent hire-on. Blaine, MN Wage:
$25.00•$32.00/hr.
Hours:
6:00 AM•4:30 PM | Monday•Thursday (Friday overtime as required)
Position Type:
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Benefits of the purchasing specialist: 100% employee medical premiums paid by company (upon permanent hire) Profit sharing opportunities 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid vacation and paid holidays Dental, vision, and life insurance Short-term and long-term disability Critical illness insurance coverage Comprehensive benefits package after probationary period Duties of the purchasing specialist: Identify overstock and unnecessary materials to recoup company costs Source raw materials strategically to mitigate job and purchase costing Prioritize, schedule, and expedite raw material deliveries Maintain accurate inventory levels and update ERP pricing systems Issue purchase orders and track them for on-time delivery Notify management immediately of supply deficits, delays, or discrepancies Coordinate material planning closely with sales and estimation teams Requirements of the purchasing specialist: Previous professional experience in purchasing and procurement Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software Capability to work Friday overtime when needed
