Arctic Cat is the most iconic name in powersports. We build our Snowmobile, ATV and SXS products in the USA and sell them through dealers worldwide. As we grow our Supply Chain team, we have openings for 2 Sourcing Specialists. The Sourcing Specialist is an onsite position based in Thief River Falls, MN. As a Sourcing Specialist, your responsibilities will include: Source materials for new product launches and product model changes. Lead efforts to identify and implement supplier cost reductions. Coordinate request for quote packages with supply base to ensure premium pricing for sourced materials. Perform make vs. buy analysis to determine optimal chain of supply for materials and suppliers. Assist in the selection and management of new and current suppliers. Support materials and quality teams to identify supplier delivery and quality issues. Support the supplier transition process by allocating work from an external supplier to in house production or vice versa. Collaborate with the finance and accounting departments to ensure suppliers are paid on time. Manage materials projects by using problem solving techniques, data from factory information systems, and lean manufacturing concepts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field required OR years of experience may be considered in place of degree. P2 - 2 - 5+ years of experience with a degree OR 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree Microsoft Office Suite, ERP system experience required; SAP and Teamscenter experience preferred Supply Chain Certification through APICS or ISM preferred Ability to understand and interpret technical illustrations in a mathematical diagram and apply mathematical concepts and operations preferred
