We are looking for someone who has excellent computer skills, enjoys the online buying experience, is accurate with data entry, and understands the importance of deadlines. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, be able to work independently and with a team, be able to interact professionally with our sales force and our vendors, and maintain accuracy in purchases and paperwork. Communication skills will help you to negotiate and maintain effective vendor relationships. The ultimate goal is to acquire supplies that are critical for the success of our business operations. Responsibilities Read work orders and determine source of items needed Create purchase orders to reflect the needs of the production department Purchase products online to fulfill purchase orders created Source new items requested by sales team Work in conjunction with inventory department and sales team to insure on-time delivery of items purchased for events and daily sales Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A strong analytical mindset Outstanding organizational skills Proven experience as a wholesale buyer or purchasing agent or relevant role, preferred xperience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions, preferred Understanding of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices Working knowledge of MS Office, ERP software and/or purchasing software (e.g. SpendMap) preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A strong analytical mindset Outstanding organizational skills We offer an accommodating work environment in a fast-paced production facility.
