PRN Supply Coordinator/Buyer, Pharmacy

Job Summary:

Performs inventory control and other specialized duties as required by the Pharmacy Department. Under the general supervision of the Director of Pharmacy and Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, the Inventory Control Technician has primary responsibilities in inventory control, record keeping, supervision of patient care unit inspections and emergency carts, controlled substances record keeping, and other duties. Minimum Requirement s:

High school graduate. Eighteen years of age or older. Good typing and computer skills (word processing proficiency is preferred). Previous Pharmacy Technician experience or equivalent is beneficial.

Must be able to use:

Typewriter, computer keyboard and modem, telephone, hospital mainframe computer system, calculators, copy machine, printers, fax machines, and unit dose packaging machine. Deliver outstanding customer service that upholds CarolinaEast's Standards of Excellence.
