Job Description
A growing, multi-location organization is looking for a motivated Purchasing Agent to support daily procurement operations and ensure smooth inventory flow across all locations. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and enjoys working with data, vendors, and cross-functional teams. What You'll Do Assist with purchasing and inventory management for assigned product lines. Create, update, and manage purchase orders. Use analytics to support decision-making and maintain accurate inventory levels. Respond to inquiries from internal teams and external partners. Work closely with sales on shortages, new products, pricing changes, and special requests. Support vendor relationships and maintain strong communication. Learn and maintain multiple business systems and software tools. Help ensure accuracy across purchasing and inventory systems. Communicate daily with various locations regarding inventory updates or concerns. What We're Looking For 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, receiving, inventory, or related roles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized, detail-focused, and able to multitask. Analytical problem solver with strong follow-through. Self-driven, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision. Able to bend, kneel, and reach during normal job duties. Must have and maintain an insurable driving record.
