Procurement Specialist We have a career opportunity for a Procurement Specialist. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the procurement of all goods and services across American Laboratories (ALI), ensuring cost-effective purchasing and strong supplier partnerships. This position will be located in Omaha, NE, working with different management levels and support personnel in other office locations.
The impact you will have:
You will be responsible for procurement of all goods and services while maintaining competitive pricing and minimizing costs You will maintain accurate, well-organized electronic purchasing records You will review and analyze procurement metrics and reports to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the purchasing function You will collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain approved or conditionally approved supplier status You will track and update purchase order status while maintaining accurate cost, production and supplier information What we are looking for: You will have a High School diploma; a Bachelor's degree preferred You will preferably have experience in a Food/Nutraceutical/Pharmaceutical manufacturing operation You will have excellent time management and organization skills You will have strong written and verbal communication and employee relation skills You will be proficient in Windows applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and other basic computer skills
