Job Description

Responsibilities:
The Purchasing and inventory agent is responsible for purchasing materials, supplies and parts for the company. You will receive material into our inventory software once you confirm receipt of material by comparing our PO, to their packing slip and BOL and confirm cost of material between our PO and their invoice. Responsible for anticipating future material availability, price comparison and delivery of material. Communicates with suppliers to resolve problems that arise regarding delivery, quality, price, etc. You will work closely with our production team, customer service and logistics team to maximize efficiency in the purchasing and inventory control department. Develops and implements policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory control with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize workflow. Performs other duties as assigned in regards to this position.
Skills:
Candidate should be good analytically and with problem solving. Attention to detail and organized is a must. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Purchasing and inventory experience is required.
