Fair Lawn, NJ Job Details Full-time $16 - $25 an hour 3 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Qualifications Vendor relationship building Sales Writing skills English Purchase order management Research Full Job Description We are looking for an Energetic Purchasing / Sales individual to order Maritime supplies and equipment based on our company's needs. Responsibilities include researching new vendors, tracking deliveries and updating order records (e.g. dates, invoices and discounts). Ultimately, you will make cost-effective purchases. Responsibilities Responsible for the procurement of goods and fulfillment of orders including strategic sourcing of various equipment, cost/price analysis, and order confirmations/closeout. Ability to deal with , quotation requests, offers, and purchase orders efficiently Responsible for obtaining quotes and generating requests for proposals from suppliers Track orders and ensure timely delivery Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts) Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices Prepare cost analyses Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders Skills 0-1 year/s of experience with sourcing, vetting, purchasing, and dealing with vendors/customers. Proficiency in Word, and Excel, and willingness and ability to learn our software and systems. Excellent English language oral/writing and comprehension skills Expected to work in NJ office
