Procurement Associate I - Contract (Hybrid, Basking Ridge, NJ) Our client, a leading global pharmaceutical company, is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Associate I to support their Procurement Operations team. This is a hybrid contract role (1-2 days onsite per week).Responsibilities:
- Support daily procurement operations and project work
- Clean up and maintain supplier databases; identify and resolve duplicate, outdated, or missing information
- Manage shared mailboxes - answer inquiries and assist users, suppliers, requestors, and business owners
- Update office supply user profiles (shipping addresses, cost centers, approvers)
- Review and manage the small business/diversity inbox; invite and register new suppliers on the company portal
- Analyze reports from SAP and supplier management tools to align mismatched data
- Assist with requisition review and inquiries
Requirements:
- 1-3 years in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or supplier management
- Excellent Excel skills (analysis, organizing, reporting, dashboarding; macros a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze large data sets
- Bachelor's degree
- SAP and P2P/S2P tools experience preferred
