Job Description:
B&C Industries is a rapidly growing packaging supply distributor based in New Jersey, providing high-quality packaging solutions to a diverse customer base. We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Buyer to own sourcing and purchasing for our flexible packaging category, with the opportunity to grow into a people-leadership role as the team expands. What You'll Do Manage purchasing and supplier relationships for flexible packaging products (film, bags, pouches, specialty packaging). Source new products and vendors while maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers. Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times to support margin and service goals. Work closely with sales and operations to align purchasing with customer demand. Analyze purchasing data, pricing trends, and inventory levels to support growth. What We're Looking For 5-10 years of purchasing or procurement experience, ideally in packaging, flexible materials, or distribution. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning a category end-to-end. Ability and interest in growing into a leadership role as the company scales. Experience collaborating cross-functionally with sales and operations teams.
