Overview Reporting directly to the VP of Global Procurement, the Corporate General Buyer is responsible for procuring goods and services across a wide range of commodity types. You will manage corporate stocking agreements, ensure the accuracy of purchasing data, and maintain the integrity of the ERP system. Additionally, you will support the VP with corporate procurement initiatives, provide purchasing recommendations, and collaborate with property stakeholders to offer guidance on procurement policies and best practices. Key Responsibilities and Duties •
Supplier Relationship Management:
Evaluating vendor performance, managing key suppliers, and tracking the on-time delivery of certain goods. •Spend Analysis & Market Research:
Analyzing purchasing data to identify savings opportunities and researching industry trends to anticipate supply chain changes. •Purchase Order Management:
Manage the full PO Lifecycle through delivery of material or services, partnering with Corporate Finance to reconcile invoices. •Sourcing:
Expertly find alternative suppliers leveraging GPO and Corporate partnerships to source new commodities for property-level stakeholders. •Internal Collaboration:
Engage with global Trump Hotels business units and the corporate team to understand requirements, timelines, and strategic needs. •ERP System Support:
Become proficient in all systems within the PO workflow, provide technical support to business units, and collaborate with system support teams as needed. •Other:
May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Experience Proficient in Microsoft Outlook & Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and spreadsheet management) Experience in working with a Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) 3-5 years' experience in hospitality procurement Specialized Skills Strong analytical skills with the ability to benchmark commodities, suppliers, and market pricing to provide actionable recommendations Proficient and professional communication Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong vendor management skills Other Job Requirements This role, based in Las Vegas, is a full-time, on-site role requiring presence in the office five (5) days per week. Minimal travel required Trump Hotels participates in the federal E-Verify program, an electronic system that verifies employment authorization in the United States by comparing information from an employee's Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, with government databases. The company uses E-Verify only after an employee has accepted a job offer and completed the Form I-9.
