Key responsibilities Procure engineered components and technical services for capital equipment manufacturing projects Partner with engineering and suppliers to ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements Manage supplier performance, delivery schedules, and quality expectations Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and applicable industry codes Support supplier negotiations and cost reduction initiatives Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements Resolve supplier non-conformance issues and delivery challenges Support project cost tracking and earned value reporting Drive continuous improvement initiatives within procurement processes Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical experience 5+ years of experience in capital equipment manufacturing or a technical procurement environment Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME and PED Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced technical environment Experience presenting to senior or executive-level stakeholders preferred Additional information ??
