Job Description
Job Description We are a high-volume e-commerce company, seeking an experienced E-Commerce Retail Buyer. This candidate will be responsible for the purchase and sell-through of goods. The ideal candidate has proven success and can have a vast understanding of industry trends. This is a hands-on role that will require the ability to communicate effectively and work with a team. Responsibilities
- Researches and analyzes markets, vendors, products, and trends
- Identify and open vendors
- Negotiates prices and terms for purchased goods and services
- Manage the purchasing budget
- Issue PO's and oversee sku creation process
- Track sales and enact changes to meet targets
- Coordinate with inventory team, management, and warehouse as required
- Develop and maintains relationships with suppliers
- Attends trade shows and conferences to maintain current understanding of new products and trends Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task & prioritize workload responsibilities
- Amazon experience
- Ability to compile information and make informed decisions
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related software
- E-commerce experience: 2 years
- Purchasing experience: 2 years
