This role blends data analysis, trend insights, and vendor collaboration to help build compelling assortments. You will work cross-functionally with Planning, Merchandising, Marketing, and Store Optimization teams to identify opportunities and execute strategies aligned to the target customer. Responsibilities Analyze market trends and sales data to support forecasting and assortment planning Partner with Merchandisers and Planners to identify business opportunities and risks Assist in building seasonal product assortments based on performance, trends, and consumer insights Participate in product meetings and stay current on industry and fashion trends Prepare financial data and reporting for budget and sales meetings Support the Buyer and Planner in analyzing buys to drive performance Assist with vendor communication and support negotiations to achieve favorable terms Track product deliveries and communicate updates on key shipments Manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred 2+ years of experience in retail and/or e-commerce merchandising Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Access a plus) Experience with Power BI or similar tools preferred Familiarity with merchandising or assortment systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) preferred Strong analytical and financial acumen Clear communication skills across cross-functional teams Highly organized with strong attention to detail Creative and strategic thinker with a passion for retail and trends Ability to travel up to 10%
