Buyer - Engineering & Prototype Procurement Are you looking to work for a company that provides an innovative work environment and where your contributions make an impact? We are seeking an experienced Buyer to support engineering, prototype, and development purchasing activities for a leading automotive organization .What You Will Be Doin gSource and procure raw materials, components, prototype parts, equipment, machinery, and supplies to support engineering and business operations .Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and supplier terms to achieve the best overall value while maintaining quality and timing requirements .Review and interpret CAD drawings and engineering documentation to support prototype and production purchasing activities .Work closely with engineering, suppliers, logistics, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of purchased materials and components .Manage supplier communications, quotations, purchase orders, and procurement documentation .Utilize SAP to support purchasing transactions, supplier management, and reporting activities .Monitor supplier performance and proactively resolve delivery, quality, and supply chain issues .Support continuous improvement initiatives related to purchasing processes and supplier performance .What You Need to Be Successfu lBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, or a related field .5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or buyer experience .Experience purchasing automotive, engineering, prototype, or technical components .Ability to read and understand CAD drawings and engineering documentation .Strong SAP experience .Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related business software .Excellent communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills .Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced engineering and development environment .Ability to travel and work additional hours as required .
