Purchasing and Planning Specialist Job Description In this role, you will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, performing audits, and overseeing the inventory department. You will collaborate with the engineering team to ensure smooth production scheduling through effective material planning. Additionally, you will manage vendor relationships and negotiations to optimize supplier performance. Responsibilities Conduct cycle counts and perform audits in the inventory department. Collaborate with engineering to ensure smooth production scheduling. Manage vendor relationships and perform negotiations. Evaluate vendor performance and manage incoming materials to ensure smooth production. Essential Skills Experience managing inventory in a manufacturing setting. Experience managing vendors and evaluating their performance. Experience managing materials to ensure smooth production. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Ability to seek opportunities for cost and process improvements. Why Work Here?
