Full-time Position Summary:

Autotec Solutions is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support sourcing, procurement, and supplier management activities for manufactured and commercial components used in custom automation and integration projects. This role is responsible for managing supplier relationships, coordinating RFQs and purchase orders, monitoring lead times, and supporting material readiness across active projects. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment. Primary Responsibilities Source manufactured, fabricated, and/or commercial components Manage supplier and vendor relationships Generate and manage RFQs, purchase orders, and procurement documentation Monitor lead times and support material planning activities Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and Project Management to support project schedules Support procurement workflow and purchasing activities across active projects Assist with cost, availability, and sourcing evaluations Secondary Responsibilities Support release processing activities during workload spikes Assist with sourcing overflow support as needed Support aftermarket procurement activities when required Assist with job cart/material readiness activities Qualifications Experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or related field Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Experience working with suppliers and vendor relationships ERP/MRP system experience preferred Manufacturing, automation, or industrial procurement experience preferred Preferred Skills RFQ and PO management Supplier coordination and expediting Material planning and lead-time management Inventory and procurement workflow understanding Microsoft Office / ERP system proficiency Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing and project environment Team-oriented procurement and operations support Cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and Project teams
