Role specific responsibilities:
- Track and monitor the status of purchase orders and work orders to ensure timely delivery
- Communicate regularly with suppliers/vendors to obtain updates on order progress
- Identify potential delays or discrepancies and take proactive measures to mitigate risks
- Liaise between internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to facilitate smooth order flow
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to expedite urgent orders or resolve issues impacting delivery schedules
- Follow up on outstanding orders and expedite delivery as needed to meet project deadlines or customer requirements
- Maintain accurate records of order status, shipping information, and delivery schedules
- Identify and address potential issues or bottlenecks in the procurement process
Work Experience Required:
- 2+ years of manufacturing planning, inventory management and purchasing experience.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Excellent communication skills, works well with all levels of associates
- Results driven with emphasis on keeping customer and business commitments
- Consistently demonstrates highest level of personal ethical conduct.
- Strong analytical skills, bias for action, and strong problem solving skills
- Proven procurement and negotiation skills
- Basic computer knowledges with MS Office
- SAP experience a plus Team based work philosophy
