Job Type:
4-Month Contract Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement / Sourcing Specialist I to support end-to-end purchasing activities. This role involves vendor management, contract negotiation, purchase order processing, and supply chain coordination . The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, sourcing strategies, and supplier relationships within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the full procurement lifecycle including requisitions, sourcing, and purchasing Obtain and evaluate competitive bids and vendor quotes Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely processing of invoices Track shipments and maintain supply chain visibility and reporting Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers Build and maintain strong vendor relationships Analyze market trends and pricing data to support sourcing decisions Monitor and report procurement KPIs (cost savings, efficiency, delivery timelines) Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain teams Maintain supplier databases and inventory management systems Identify and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks Required Qualifications 1+ year of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain Experience with purchase orders, vendor management, and contract negotiation Familiarity with Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems and inventory tools Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Preferred Qualifications Industry experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Logistics, or IT Experience with shipment tracking and inventory control systems Knowledge of strategic sourcing and cost optimization techniques
