Job Description:
Procurement Analyst Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support purchasing operations, supplier communications, and procurement reporting activities. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely sourcing, purchase order processing, supplier follow-up, and data analysis. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, experience working with suppliers, and an interest in developing a career within procurement and supply chain management. Key Responsibilities Support procurement activities including sourcing requests, supplier outreach, quote collection, and purchase order administration. Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors regarding pricing, delivery schedules, order status, and documentation requests. Track and manage supplier responses to Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and maintain procurement records. Analyze supplier pricing, lead times, and purchasing trends to support sourcing decisions. Create and maintain procurement reports, spend analysis, supplier scorecards, and KPI dashboards using Microsoft Excel. Utilize advanced Excel functions including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data validation, and reporting tools to analyze purchasing data. Assist with vendor onboarding, supplier documentation, and maintenance of supplier information within ERP systems. Monitor open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Support invoice reconciliation and assist with resolving supplier payment or pricing discrepancies. Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support business objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency within procurement operations. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or related field preferred. 1-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, vendor management, or related business operations. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, Lookups, formulas, and reporting. Strong experience working directly with vendors and suppliers. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience supporting procurement reporting, purchasing activities, or supplier management is preferred.
