Job Description

A growing, employee-owned manufacturer is seeking an Entry-Level Buyer in the Lancaster area. This on-site role supports the bid and proposal process through supplier outreach, quote management, pricing and lead-time negotiations, data accuracy, and supply chain coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career procurement professional looking to gain hands-on experience in sourcing, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration within a highly regulated, quality-focused manufacturing environment. The position offers exposure to complex projects, industry-leading standards, and long-term career growth. What you'll do Support bid/proposal procurement activities by sourcing material, obtaining quotes, and negotiating for best market price and delivery Coordinate with internal stakeholders (including engineering/configuration) to resolve BOM discrepancies, alternates, and obsolescence topics Maintain and "scrub" supplier/procurement data for accuracy in internal quoting/portal tools Assist with supplier onboarding for RFP requirements (market research, outreach, onboarding steps) Help maintain approved supplier records and support renewal activity in coordination with quality/procurement teams Identify and flag supply chain risks that could impact bid/proposal commitments Provide general procurement support as needed What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or similar (or equivalent related experience) 0-5 years of experience; procurement experience with electronic and/or mechanical components is a plus Strong analytical skills, comfort working with numbers, and attention to detail Solid communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams Proficiency with Excel/Word and comfort using ERP systems and databases Aerospace/defense or military procurement exposure is a plus Ability to obtain/maintain any required security/eligibility clearances as needed for the work environment

$50,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
