MRO Buyer

Overview Express Employment Professionals of Camp Hill has partnered with a leading Manufacturer of Industrial Products, Located here in Central Pa. They are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented MRO Buyer to join our procurement team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies essential to our manufacturing and operational activities. Your expertise will ensure the seamless availability of critical materials while optimizing costs and maintaining strong supplier relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of materials management, procurement processes, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to support our supply chain efficiency. Responsibilities Completes MRO part pickup by driving truck or van to and from vendors. Provides quality service by following organizational standards. Preserves a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat. Oversee vendor managed inventory and ensure stock levels are maintained at proper levels, this includes standard safety stock and consumables. Works with multiple vendors to determine the best deals for the company based on price, quality, and speed of delivery among other factors . Research, evaluate and buy parts for the company to be used in everyday operations as well as in repairs needed. Purchases complex and technical or specialized equipment, materials or services specifically designed and manufactured to meet the client's needs and specifications. Negotiate pricing, shipping, and warranties with vendors. Qualifications or Minimum Requirements Must be extremely proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with NetSuite, or any other ERP system preferred; but not required. Associate's degree in related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in a production or manufacturing setting is preferred; but not required. Must be able to lift 75 lbs., twist and turn, kneel, and stand for long periods of time, climb a ladder, and work overhead as required. Valid PA drivers' license with clean driving record. Must have the ability to be trained and operate a forklift.

Pay:

$62,502.39 - $75,271.70 per year
