Job Description

Are you a data-driven procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? A rapidly growing manufacturing company in Southampton, PA, is looking for a Buyer II to join their team ASAP. This is a dynamic Temp-to-Hire position born out of company expansion, offering massive long-term career growth. $30 - $35 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4

High SchoolResponsibilities Manage and Execute MRP:
Analyze and maintain the Materials Requirement Plan (MRP) to ensure a continuous material pipeline that aligns with production needs.
Support Production Schedules:
Secure materials availability to meet the Shop Production Schedule by managing on-time deliveries and coordinating material movement from receiving to the line.
Manage Purchase Orders:
Issue POs in compliance with pricing, terms, and conditions established by supply chain leadership, ensuring strict supplier adherence to agreements.
Streamline Vendor Communication:
Optimize the order management process to maintain clear, efficient, and proactive communication with suppliers.
Maintain Data Integrity:
Monitor and update master data and purchasing parameters to balance procurement costs, minimize material liability, and optimize inventory levels.
Drive Supplier Performance:
Monitor and improve supplier delivery and expedite performance, while proactively communicating potential supply chain bottlenecks to leadership.
