Remote Role Purpose:
This position will be responsible for partnering with business partners to effectively and efficiently initiate and facilitate Purchase Order requests, Contract requests, Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements, Health Care Professional (HCP) consulting agreements and other similar complexity agreements and will also assist other Contracts Management Team members on other more complex agreements.
Major Responsibilities:
Partner with Business, Legal, Compliance, Procurement/Contracting Teams and Cross TA peers to identify and implement optimization opportunities to drive down cycle times and enhance the overall experience. Receive required information from business partners and enter into appropriate systems including APEX, eMarketplace (eMP), eMarketplace Contracting (eMC), Totality, etc. as needed. Interface & collaborate with other team members, R D business partners, finance, procurement, HCC, Legal, and/or other SMEs as applicable to ensure timely compliant contract execution and oversight. Interface directly with external parties (including HCPs) and represent Janssen in collecting information, ensuring resolution of issues, and assisting external parties through the Janssen end to end operational contracting process, including timely payments to HCPs and enabling a seamless positive experience. Ensure communication with business partners on status of contracts and that the appropriate trackers are updated timely with all relevant contract information. Monitor requests/contracts through process to ensure movement / progress forward for timely execution and/or completion. Identify any issues/concerns during the process and escalate as appropriate. Make recommendations on how to mitigate such issues to identify corrective actions to drive further efficiencies in the process. Assist with team trainings, process improvement projects, etc. as needed. ? ?
Position Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years' experience working in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device or other Health-Science Related industries is required. Minimum of 4 years' experience with a sourcing or contracting group understanding the contract process, and payment process is preferred. BS preferred, degree in science related field preferred. Previous experience with Ariba, eMarketplace, eMarketplace Contracting, Health Care Compliance (Totality) and Accounts Payable Systems is required. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization. Willingness to learn data science fundamentals to effectively partner with analytics teams and translate technical needs into contracting requirements. Agile mindset in an ever-changing and fast paced environment. Fosters a sense of urgency and collaboration with other J&J organizations (e.g. legal, Health Care Compliance, procurement, finance).
