Aviation Procurement Buyer 4790 John Carrell Rd., Denton, TX 76207 Full‑Time | Hybrid About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Aviation Procurement Buyer to join our team in Denton, TX. This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing aircraft parts, materials, and services to support maintenance, repair, and operational needs. The ideal candidate has strong aviation industry knowledge, excellent vendor‑management skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Source, evaluate, and purchase aircraft parts, components, tooling, and services in accordance with company requirements. Review purchase requests for accuracy, urgency, and compliance with aviation standards. Identify, qualify, and maintain relationships with approved vendors and suppliers. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost and operational efficiency. Track orders, monitor delivery timelines, and resolve discrepancies or delays. Ensure all procurement activities comply with FAA, EASA, and company quality standards. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, quotes, certifications, and supplier documentation. Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, quality assurance, and leadership teams to forecast needs and support operational planning. Monitor market trends, part availability, and supply chain risks. Support inventory management and assist with stock level optimization. Qualifications Previous experience in aviation procurement, purchasing, or supply chain required. Strong understanding of aircraft parts, ATA chapters, and aviation maintenance terminology. Familiarity with FAA regulations and traceability requirements (8130, C of C, etc.). Proficiency with procurement or MRO software systems. Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor‑management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills. High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or aviation preferred. Preferred Skills Experience with ERP/MRO systems (Quantum, Corridor, Ramco, etc.). Knowledge of import/export regulations and logistics. Ability to read technical manuals and part documentation. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
