Job Description
Position is
This segment is classified into two main product groupings
Role Purpose Involved in the overall planning, implementation, and optimization of all activities and support required for delivery of products to customers from Contract Manufacturing locations either drop ship or through distribution. Primary areas include authorizing materials acquisition, supply intelligence, supplier/manufacturing capacity knowledge, industry knowledge and transportation cost alternatives.
Key Responsibilities Apply supply chain principles to support effective decision-making across planning, purchasing, inventory, and scheduling activities. Coordinate with customer service, suppliers, receiving, manufacturing, and shipping to meet customer requirements using MRP systems to balance service, efficiency, and cost. Manage raw material and finished goods inventory targets through strategic stocking decisions based on contracts, business strategy, and material availability. Resolve material availability issues across multiple production lines and coordinate long-term supply concerns with Purchasing, Planning, and Product Line Management. Support new product introductions and product transfers by coordinating materials and working closely with cross-functional teams, regional planning, and manufacturing sites. Drive continuous improvement through Lean/iKaizen initiatives, monitor monthly objectives, and implement solutions aligned with divisional goals and customer needs. Support procurement, logistics, and supplier management activities while monitoring part-level schedules, analyzing delivery exceptions, identifying root causes, and driving corrective actions. - Required Bachelor's Degree Minimum 3 years experience in supply chain planning, production scheduling, materials planning, procurement, logistics, or operations MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) Experiences/Education
- Desired SAP knowledge and experience Thorough understanding inventory management concepts Basic accounting principles Lean / Six Sigma APICS (or similar) certification Project planning This position does not support immigration sponsorship. The range for this position is $75,817.00
