Jacobs is seeking a Purchasing Career Professional to join our collaborative Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) procurement team where you'll have the chance to work on project teams using your expertise to support their work portfolio of project services, including purchasing and subcontracting responsibilities to meet project schedules and expectations. In this role, you'll perform all duties for assigned purchase requisitions, including prequalification of bidders, solicitation of proposals, proposal evaluations, source selection recommendations as well as leading negotiation of subcontract terms and pricing issues, conformance and finalizing of agreements, and purchase order and subcontract issuance and implementation. You'll ensure applicable Client contract commercial terms are identified, addressed, and included in assigned subcontracts as well as support subcontract post-award administration duties, including change order management, contractual compliance, invoice verification, insurance compliance, performance evaluation, closeout of agreements, and records retention. Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for assigned categories or business units
  • Ensures cost-effective purchasing, supplier performance, and compliance with company policies
  • Works independently while contributing to strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Manage sourcing activities including RFQs/RFPs and supplier selection
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers
  • Execute and manage purchase orders in compliance with policies
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance (delivery, quality, service)
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders at the project site to align procurement strategies
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities
  • Resolve supply issues and mitigate risks
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements
  • Provide guidance or mentorship to junior staff
  • Must be willing to travel 10%
  • This is a hybrid position working from home with 1 day per week in-person at the local office to collaborate with the team.

Understands project delivery processes in support of project purchasing and subcontracting requirements and their relationship to project delivery. Attention to detail and accuracy

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
