Job Description:
Procurement Intake & Supplier Intelligence Coordinator (Contract) | Hybrid - Bothell, WA This position plays a key role in strengthening procurement operations while also contributing to supplier strategy, market intelligence, and category enablement initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytically minded professional who enjoys working across procurement operations, supplier engagement, and data-driven decision support . Position Overview This role is structured as a dual-function position supporting both procurement intake coordination (approximately 50%) and supplier intelligence and category support (approximately 50%) . Key Responsibilities Procurement Intake & Workflow Coordination Coordinate procurement intake activities for purchase requests, vendor proposals, and business requirement documents (BRDs) Perform quality reviews to ensure completeness, accuracy, and readiness for routing Route requests to appropriate stakeholder groups, including Finance, Operations, Compliance, IT, Cybersecurity, and Safety Track approvals and ensure timely movement of requests through governance workflows Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve intake consistency, communication, and process efficiency Supplier Intelligence & Category Enablement Segment and profile suppliers across key categories, including leaders, challengers, and emerging suppliers Develop category workbooks incorporating market landscape analysis, supplier benchmarking, risk considerations, and innovation insights Support supplier engagement and development initiatives, including communications and enablement materials Maintain approved bidder lists (ABLs) and support supplier shortlisting for RFP and RFQ processes Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and supplier capabilities to inform sourcing strategies Support category roadmaps, performance metrics, and supplier governance activities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred PMP or other Project Management certification strongly preferred 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supplier management, market research, or analytics Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and structured deliverables Experience developing reports, dashboards, supplier profiles, or category-level documentation Familiarity with supplier segmentation, benchmarking, and procurement governance processes Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions Experience supporting RFP/RFQ processes, SLAs, or COE/shared services environments is a plus About the Opportunity This role sits within a Procurement Center of Excellence and supports efforts to enhance procurement efficiency, supplier transparency, and category strategy development. The work directly contributes to improving how supplier decisions are made and how procurement processes are executed across the organization.
