Job Description

Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and forward-thinking Strategic Procurement Specialist to oversee the purchasing of industrial inventory that supports both internal operations and customer fulfillment. This individual will play a key role in building and managing a data-informed replenishment approach to improve purchasing efficiency, maintain optimal stock levels, and ensure consistent product availability. This hybrid role is based in Bristol, PA.
Primary Responsibilities:
Procurement & Supplier Management Manage sourcing and purchasing of industrial inventory from a network of approved vendors Lead negotiations related to pricing, terms, and agreements to drive cost savings Build and maintain productive supplier partnerships while monitoring vendor performance Inventory Planning & Replenishment Evaluate historical usage and demand patterns to support accurate forecasting Design and maintain an automated replenishment strategy to guide purchasing decisions Partner with sales and operations teams to ensure inventory levels align with business needs Analytics & Performance Monitoring Track procurement metrics using ERP systems and analytics tools Assess data to uncover trends, mitigate risks, and identify opportunities for improvement Create reports and dashboards to support planning and decision-making Operational Improvements Identify and implement efficiencies within procurement processes Reduce manual tasks through automation and system enhancements Contribute to broader supply chain optimization and digital initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline At least 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain, ideally within manufacturing or industrial settings Strong analytical capabilities, including experience with forecasting or inventory planning Hands-on experience with ERP platforms (such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and advanced Excel or reporting tools Effective negotiation, communication, and organizational skills Familiarity with automated purchasing or replenishment systems is a plus
