Job Description

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support nuclear operations and supply chain activities at a major energy facility in Seneca, SC. This role is responsible for sourcing materials and services, supporting outage activities, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of critical components to support plant operations.
Pay:
$54.00
  • $64.00 per hour DOESchedule Monday
  • Thursday 7:00 AM
  • 5:30 PM On-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support as needed Key Responsibilities Manage procurement of materials and services supporting nuclear operations Expedite purchase orders, contracts, and critical materials Support plant outages and online operations Develop and maintain supplier relationships Resolve procurement, logistics, inventory, and invoice issues Analyze supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities Prepare and manage daily, monthly, and quarterly reports Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and regulatory requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree + 2 years of experience, OR Associate's Degree + 4 years of experience, OR High School Diploma/GED + 6 years of experience Strong analytical, organizational, and customer service skills Experience working in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred Qualifications Procurement, supply chain, inventory management, or sourcing experience Experience supporting industrial, utility, manufacturing, or energy operations Strong negotiation and supplier management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Additional Information Hybrid/remote work available after onboarding Must reside within 60 miles of a nuclear facility Assigned location: Seneca, SC Occasional travel may be required #Procurement #SupplyChain #Purchasing #NuclearEnergy #Utilities #EnergyJobs #SupplyChainManagement #Logistics #Operations #ProcurementJobs #LI-AS1
