• Job Description:

• Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
• Senior Procurement Specialist
• to join our team! In this role you will get to manage software assets and procurement, renewals, contracts, vendor updates, and workflows.

• What You'll Be Doing:

• + Create and track requests for new and existing software/subscriptions including monitoring approvals and procurement processes.

+ Manage upcoming renewals and contract dates and act as the procurement point of contact for engineering software and technical library vendors. + Analyze purchasing requisitions for accuracy and prepare contracts for legal review. + Create new vendor and vendor update requests. + Assist in vendor negotiations. + Assist with budget management. + Provide asset management and procurement support to the Engineering Systems team.

• What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• + Proven experience in procurement, contract management, and vendor negotiations.

+ Proficiency in asset management and procurement software platforms. + Strong organizational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail. + Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities effectively. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external vendors. + Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Economics (or related field). + In leu of degree we would consider someone with 6+ years of related work experience is required. + Report to our Chantilly, VA office 2 to 3 days a week or as needed. ​

• What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• + Proficiency in Asset Manager, SAP Ariba, PRISM, Salesforce, and other relevant platforms. + Experience in managing software procurement and renewals + Knowledge of software licensing workflows and implementation. + Ability to identify process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.

Salary Range:
