This role will lead strategic sourcing efforts across key spend categories, driving cost optimization, supplier innovation, and long-term value creation. This position requires a sourcing professional who can operate both strategically and tactically—partnering with senior stakeholders, leading complex negotiations, and shaping category strategies that align with broader business objectives. This position is based in Johns Creek, GA with a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives across multiple spend categories, including RFx development, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract execution Develop and implement category strategies that drive cost savings, mitigate risk, and improve supplier performance Partner with senior business stakeholders to understand requirements, influence decision-making, and align sourcing strategies with business goals Conduct in-depth spend analysis, market research, and supplier benchmarking to identify sourcing opportunities Lead complex commercial negotiations, including pricing, contract terms, SLAs, and performance metrics Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives, including performance reviews, scorecards, and continuous improvement plans Identify and mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring continuity of supply Mentor and provide guidance to junior procurement team members as needed Support procurement transformation initiatives, including process improvements, policy development, and tool implementation

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred) 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement Demonstrated success leading complex sourcing initiatives and negotiations Strong experience working with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership Deep understanding of sourcing methodologies, contract management, and supplier performance management Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Experience with procurement and sourcing tools (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Oracle) Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is a plus
