Senior Buyer - Regulated Industry| Full-Time We're looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to lead sourcing and supplier management in a highly regulated environment. This role will drive strategic purchasing, cost optimization, and supplier performance while ensuring full compliance with industry standards.What You'll Do:
- Lead strategic sourcing and supplier qualification
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and supplier terms
- Manage RFQs, POs, order tracking, and inventory levels
- Partner closely with Engineering, Quality & Production
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and export/import requirements
- Drive cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior team members
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of procurement experience in aerospace/defense
- Strong negotiation and supplier management experience
- Deep understanding of applicable industry standards
- ERP/MRP experience (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree preferred;
APICS/ISM
certifications a plus- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
