Duties and Responsibilities:

The Roll Tender is responsible for loading paper onto printing presses, ensuring proper operation, accuracy, on-time production and maintaining quality during the printing process. This position works closely with the Press Operator to coordinate jobs, maintain an accurate inventory, count, and prioritize orders. With a goal of producing high quality prints for clients, while maintaining machine and area around machine in client-ready status. Our equipment is modern, automated, and well maintained. Produce high quality and consistent printing that meets and exceeds client expectations while regularly meeting production standards of the company. Maintain press and press area according to preset scheduled recommendations Keep press and press area client ready and impressively clean Check forms and compare to proofs for approval prior to run Immediately take necessary actions to solve any issues on a given job at time of incident also communicate any issues/problems associated with given job to assure proper outcome Review and comply by all details on Job Ticket to assure job is properly produced Keep personal appearance client ready for random press checks or client tours Be honest about any mistakes and seek immediate resolve Adhere to all Policies and Procedures implemented by the company

Skills/Qualifications Required:

Designate and recognize colors Reading skills capable of reading and following Job Ticket instructions Handle paper stocks properly in accordance with production standards Mechanically capable of routine maintenance Communication skills to discuss relevant job to job issues to seek positive results Computer skills associated with operation of machine Dependable & Focused Desire to grow and develop new skills Work necessary overtime to meet client demands.
