Job Description

CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team. As a Buyer you will play a vital role. Your meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively will contribute to the overall success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing materials and supplies required for production. Ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods. Maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers. Analyzing market trends to determine the most competitive prices. Negotiating with suppliers to secure better prices and terms. Developing and implementing procurement strategies. Managing inventory levels and ensuring adequate stock levels. Coordinating with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods. Updating and maintaining purchasing records and data. Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations
Qualifications:
Formal education - bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus. Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), and other relevant software. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Problem solving attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
Experience:
3 - 4 years' experience as a buyer working in a manufacturing environment is essential.
