Job Description

Job Title:
Procurement Specialist Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist to join our semiconductor manufacturing plant in Allen, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including purchase order creation, order tracking, days of stock management, and vendor management. You will play a key role in ensuring a continuous secure supply of high-quality materials and components needed for our plant's operations.
Responsibilities Procurement Operations:
Execute end-to-end procurement functions, assist with sourcing, process purchase orders, and maintain supplier communication to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
Inventory Management:
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to assess inventory needs, maintain optimal stock levels, and prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
Supplier Management:
Aid in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers while cultivating strong relationships with the existing supply base. Provide support in contract negotiations and supplier evaluations.
Order Tracking:
Monitor and manage open purchase orders, proactively communicate with suppliers to ensure on-time receipt of goods.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards throughout the procurement process. Essential Skills Experience in procurement, purchase order processing, and purchasing. Proficiency in Hexagon and MS Office. Strong analytical and communication skills. High attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Entry-level purchasing background experience. Administrative support experience. 1+ year experience in a manufacturing company in a similar role is ideal. Bachelor or university degree preferred. Work Environment This position is based in an office environment located in Allen, TX. The role involves collaborating with various departments, including engineering, production, and maintenance, to ensure the smooth operation of procurement processes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Allen, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
