Materials Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 14311 Welch Road, Dallas, TX 75244 Full-time CPC 5 reviews Full-time CPC is seeking an experienced Materials Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to manage the sourcing, purchasing, and logistics of construction materials for projects. This role requires strong working knowledge of construction materials, experience coordinating deliveries, and the ability to negotiate pricing and terms with vendors. The ideal candidate understands how material selection, lead times, and logistics directly impact project schedules and costs and can proactively support project teams from start to finish. Key Responsibilities Source, purchase, and coordinate construction materials for active projects nationwide Apply strong working knowledge of construction materials to ensure accuracy and job suitability Communicate with project managers to understand scopes, timelines, and material needs Negotiate pricing, lead times, and delivery terms with suppliers and vendors Track material orders from purchase through delivery and resolve shortages, damages, or delays Coordinate logistics and job-site deliveries to align with project schedules Maintain vendor relationships and identify cost-saving opportunities Monitor pricing trends and recommend alternative materials or suppliers when appropriate Assist accounting with purchase orders, invoices, and documentation Maintain organized records of vendors, pricing, and material usage Qualifications Proven experience working with construction materials and suppliers Experience in purchasing, procurement, or materials coordination within construction Strong understanding of material types, lead times, and job-site requirements Demonstrated ability to negotiate pricing and manage logistics Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Strong communication and problem-solving skills Proficiency with standard office and job-tracking tools Compensation Competitive compensation DOE .
