Position Summary The Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator owns the day-to-day flow of purchase orders for both our own production needs and our private label partners. You'll be the connective tissue between our partners, suppliers, production floor, and freight carriers — making sure every order is placed correctly, produced on time, shipped on schedule, and tracked from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities Purchase Orders:

Create, process, and manage purchase orders for raw materials, finished goods, and private label production runs.

Private Label Partners:

Serve as the primary point of contact for our private label partners — managing order intake, confirming specs, providing status updates, and resolving issues.

Logistics & Shipping:

Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, schedule pickups, prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists), and work with carriers on rates and transit times.

Tracking & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of every order from PO creation through delivery; proactively track shipments and flag delays before they become problems.

Inventory Coordination:

Work with production and warehouse teams to align order timing with material availability and finished goods inventory.

Supplier Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and carriers; negotiate lead times and resolve discrepancies on invoices, shortages, or damaged goods.

Documentation:

Keep all order, shipping, and partner records organized and audit-ready.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify ways to streamline ordering, tracking, and logistics processes as we grow. What We're Looking For Strong organizational skills and an obsession with details — you don't let things fall through the cracks. Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable being the main point of contact for outside partners. Comfort with spreadsheets, email, and ERP/inventory software (we'll train on our specific systems). Calm under pressure — able to juggle multiple orders, partners, and shipping deadlines at once. Problem-solver who follows through; when something goes wrong with a shipment or order, you own it until it's resolved. Prior experience in purchasing, logistics, supply chain, customer service, or manufacturing is a plus, but not required — we're open to candidates at any experience level who bring the right attitude and aptitude.
