Job Description
We've partnered with a well-established organization who seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support strategic sourcing and category management initiatives. This role partners closely with procurement leadership to analyze spend, support sourcing events, and deliver data-driven insights that improve supplier performance, cost efficiency, and purchasing decisions. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with the ability to manage multiple sourcing activities in a structured, deadline-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Analyze procurement and spend data from internal systems and supplier sources, transforming large datasets into clear insights and actionable summaries Support category and sourcing strategies by identifying cost optimization opportunities through data review, supplier comparisons, market analysis, and pricing evaluations Assist in the execution of competitive sourcing events by helping prepare sourcing documentation, standardizing material and service specifications, and maintaining supplier records Develop and manage sourcing event materials, including pricing templates, evaluation criteria, and supporting documentation Compile and evaluate post-sourcing results, reviewing supplier responses, pricing outcomes, and scoring metrics to support award recommendations Create, maintain, and enhance spend dashboards and recurring procurement reports for internal stakeholders Monitor and manage sourcing timelines to ensure business requirements and project milestones are met Coordinate with suppliers before and during sourcing events, including facilitating nondisclosure agreements and managing communications Support issue resolution related to supplier invoicing discrepancies, pricing concerns, and delivery challenges Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or a related field 2-5 years of experience in procurement analysis, sourcing, supply chain, or a related analytical role Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret trends and summarize findings for non-technical audiences Experience supporting
RFP/RFQ/RFI
processes or other competitive sourcing activities Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools; advanced Excel skills strongly preferred High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities Clear written and verbal communication skills with experience collaborating across functions Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting.
