POSITION

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing & Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing across our construction projects and hospitality operations. This person will work within established processes while playing a key role in the implementation of a new accounting system — including material requisitions and purchase orders — and helping to strengthen our procurement function going forward. Hospitality or resort experience is a strong plus. Construction purchasing experience is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage purchasing for both construction and operational needs in a fast-paced environment Process and track purchase orders and material requisitions accurately and on time Source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers Build and maintain strong vendor relationships Coordinate with Accounting to ensure proper coding, approvals, and documentation Support the rollout of a new accounting system, including MR and PO workflows Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Manage competing priorities and adapt quickly as needs change Due to changing operational demands and the need to exceed customer expectations, it may be necessary to undertake various functions that are not specifically related to this position. This individual may be required to carry out additional tasks and duties as needed or as directed. Additionally, employee responsibilities and job descriptions are subject to review and modification.

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of procurement or purchasing experience Construction purchasing experience required Hospitality, resort, or property management background preferred Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills Comfortable making independent decisions and managing multiple deadlines Experience with accounting or procurement systems a plus Self-directed and accountable — takes ownership of the role Ottine Mineral Springs is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity, equity, and inclusion. COMPENSATION

Commensurate with experience.
