Purchasing Analyst Location:
Grand Prairie, TX (On-site, Mon-Thurs | 4 x10's) Overview The Purchasing Analyst supports global sourcing and day-to-day procurement of finished goods, ensuring product availability, cost efficiency, and supply chain continuity. This role partners cross-functionally to manage suppliers, maintain ERP data accuracy, and drive on-time delivery and customer fill rate performance. Key Responsibilities Manage daily purchasing activities and assigned commodities Support global sourcing, supplier development, and contract negotiations Monitor supply chain risks (including Tier 2/3) and mitigate disruptions Drive cost reductions through sourcing strategies and landed cost analysis Maintain supplier relationships and performance (cost, quality, delivery) Ensure ERP data integrity (pricing, lead times, inventory, planning parameters) Coordinate inbound logistics, inventory levels, and expediting to meet demand Support import/export compliance and trade documentation Partner with Sales on forecasts, demand changes, and supply constraints Conduct financial modeling, market research, and data analysis Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 5-10 years of purchasing/logistics experience (global preferred) Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Advanced Excel/data analysis proficiency; ERP experience required Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills Project management experience (PMP a plus)
